Privacy Notice


Dear User.

This Privacy Notice explains what personal data is collected as you use this Application, how it will be stored and used. Please refer further below for the Terms of Use


The purpose of this application is to enable easy and rapid verification of contractor’s various certifications as relevant for the tasks they are assigned to be performed. The data controller is Saudi Arabian Oil Company (“Aramco”), is a Saudi joint stock company established in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (the “Kingdom”) by virtue of Royal Decree No. M/8, dated 4/4/1409H (corresponding 13/11/1988G) with fully paid capital of SAR 60,000,000,000 and registered in the city of Dhahran under commercial registration no 2052101150.



The personal data we collect:

In line with the purpose of the Application (and our legal obligations to collect the minimum amount of personal data), the Application only collects information about your usage. In particular the information collected are:

  • Your first and second name.
  • Badge Number
  • Department in which you work.
  • Your corporate title
  • Log on information (Date and time of you downloaded, opened, used the application)


How we use the information collected:

Aramco will use the information collected in a limited way to support demonstrating our compliance and internal investigations, in the event any incidents take place, or questions are raised whether a particular contractor’s certification is up to date or was checked in line with required procedures. We may monitor your usage and access to information through the Application to ensure you’re complying with the conditions outlined in Terms of Use, and Aramco’s Corporate Policies and General Instructions.



How we may share the information collected:

The information collected will not be shared by Aramco, unless it is to our service providers, or if we’re legally obliged to disclose it as part of an external investigation of a competent authority, such as the regulator of a particular sector or professional body, or the Police. Aramco may choose to share this information to protect its interests to cooperate with such external entities.



How we will transfer the information collected:

Aramco does not anticipate transferring your personal data outside of the Kingdom, however in the event it is transferred, we will ensure it is equally protected as if it was within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.



How we will protect your personal data:

Your personal data will be stored on Aramco’s servers. In line with that we will apply our corporate security policies to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, loss, damage or disclosure.



How long will we keep your personal data:

Aramco’s records management policy and GI will be adhered to and your personal data will be kept for the applicable periods outlined in the records retention schedule of the GI.



Legal basis on which Aramco processes your personal data:

The applicable legal ground for us to process your personal data is our legitimate interest, in ensuring we operating our business compliantly. In the event we are compelled to disclose your personal data, the basis for doing so will be our legal obligations.



Your Rights:

Under the Personal Data Protection Law, you have rights in relation to your Personal Data. These rights include the right to access and rectify inaccurate Personal Data processed in the application , or that we collected about you.

Subject to certain limitations, users accessing the Site within and/or otherwise located within the European Union (EU) may have certain rights under applicable laws. The rights include:

  • Right of access, including to request a copy of what Personal Data we hold about you;
  • Rectify, or update inaccurate and add to incomplete Personal Data we hold about you;
  • Subject to limitations, request deletion of your Personal Data;
  • Object to the processing of your Personal Data if its collection and use is based on our legitimate interests;
  • Request copy of your Personal Data in a portable format if certain circumstances;
  • Lodge a complaint with the Supervisory Authority (SDAIA).

Terms of Use


Please note that this Application will give you access to the personal data of contractors. Aramco’s commitment to process all personal data fairly, lawfully and in line with our Privacy and Data Protection Policy and GI, requires that you take appropriate steps to ensure that your usage complies with the requirements outlined in those documents.



In particular, you must only access and use the Application for the explicit purpose of validating contractor’s certifications, as aligned with clear work based requirements to do so. You must not access, view or take information out of the Application for any other purpose. We draw your attention to the fact that using the Application in a way not aligned for the purpose for which it is deployed, may result disciplinary proceedings and actions being taken against you.
